Mike Daugherty - FOUNDER & CEO, FUSE WORKSPACE

FUSE Workspace was founded in 2018 on a simple idea: the future of work

belongs to operators who treat members like guests, not tenants. Today the

company operates Class A coworking and flexible office spaces across Austin

and Houston. The locations include Bee Cave, Four Points, Dripping Springs, East MLK, and Houston CityCentre.

That hospitality first promise is delivered every day by a team that

combines decades of experience across hospitality, real estate, finance,

sales, and marketing. Below, meet the five people leading FUSE Workspace.

Mike Daugherty

Mike Daugherty is the founder and CEO of FUSE Workspace, a Texas-based

provider of hospitality driven Class A coworking and flexible office space.

A second generation hospitality executive, he founded FUSE in 2018 to

bring premium flexible workspace to underserved Texas markets.

Background

Mike Daugherty's path to coworking ran through the hotel industry. As a

co-founder of DPG Partners, a family owned hospitality and hotel

development firm operating multiple properties across Texas, he spent

years studying what makes a guest experience exceptional. Around 2017,

while working from home and running DPG, he ran into the gap that became

the FUSE founding insight: there was nowhere outside downtown that

delivered the kind of professional, polished, service rich workspace he

needed. In 2018, he opened the first FUSE Workspace in Prosper, Texas, in a

40,000 square foot building he developed himself.

Philosophy

Daugherty has been consistent that FUSE's success rests on three pillars:

hospitality, community, and flexibility. He has publicly described the

company as a hospitality and service business not a real estate leasing

business and built the operating model around that distinction.

"Do More for us at FUSE is more than our motto, it's our passion. FUSE exists to help people do more not only in their vocation, but also in their community and the world."

— Mike Daugherty, Founder & CEO

John Herring — President & Partner

PRESIDENT & PARTNER, FUSE WORKSPACE

John Herring is the President and Partner of FUSE Workspace, leading

day-to-day operations, brand, and expansion across the company's Austin and

Houston locations including staffing strategy, member experience, and

new-location launches.

Background

John Herring earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M

University and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological

Seminary. After spending years in ministry work, he joined FUSE Workspace

early as Brand Manager and Director of Operations, building the playbook

for how FUSE locations should look, feel, and serve members. That early

operating role led to his current position as President and Partner.

Outside of FUSE, he serves as a volunteer chaplain for the Prosper, Texas

fire and police departments.

Approach

Herring has been clear about what separates FUSE from a traditional

shared office operator. In public comments around the company's Austin

expansion, he has described FUSE as "a little more full service than other

coworking offerings", a framing reflected in how every FUSE location is

staffed during business hours, how on site teams are trained in hospitality

rather than property management, and how the company invests in amenities

that go beyond what typical flex space operators offer.

"We are bullish on the MLK Corridor. We anticipate engaging local businesses and residents and spurring further imaginative, inspired revitalization of this dynamic part of Austin."

— John Herring on FUSE's East Austin expansion

Sandra Aldridge — Controller

CONTROLLER, FUSE WORKSPACE & DPG PARTNERS

Sandra Aldridge is the Controller at FUSE Workspace and DPG Partners,

overseeing financial operations, accounting, reporting, and member billing

across the FUSE portfolio of Class A coworking and flexible office

locations in Austin and Houston.

Background

Sandra Aldridge brings cross industry finance experience built across

hospitality, facilities services, construction, legal, and retail. Earlier

in her career she worked at Cross Architects, focused on project accounting, managing construction phase billing and project cost accounting for commercial retail builds and HUD/tax credit multifamily projects. She then served as Controller at StartKleen Legacy, where she ran financial operations and supported HR functions before stepping into accounting leadership at FUSE Workspace and DPG Partners.

At FUSE

FUSE Workspace is unusual in the coworking industry: it owns the real

estate where most of its locations operate, runs hospitality-grade service

in-house, and continues to expand into new Texas markets. That structure

makes the Controller role wider than a typical accounting function. Sandra

oversees the day to day accounting, monthly close, and financial reporting

that keep the FUSE portfolio running alongside member billing operations and the financial coordination required to take a new location from build out through grand opening.

Ivy Brown — Marketing & Administrative Specialist

MARKETING & ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST, FUSE WORKSPACE

Ivy Brown is the Marketing and Administrative Specialist at FUSE Workspace,

supporting brand, member events, and community engagement across the

company's Class A coworking and flexible office locations.

Background

Ivy Brown's career began in residential real estate. She held progressive

roles at Greystar and AMLI Residential, two of the largest residential

real estate operators in the country, including Community Manager, Assistant Manager, and Property Manager positions. That experience gave her working knowledge of multi-property operations, marketing communications, member events, and the attention to detail required to keep large communities feeling well-cared-for.

At FUSE

FUSE Workspace built its reputation on hospitality, not square footage and that shows up in how the brand communicates with members, prospects, and the surrounding communities each location serves. Ivy supports that promise through marketing communications, member events, networking and community programming, and the operational details that keep FUSE feeling consistent from Bee Cave to Houston CityCentre.

Kris Thomas — Director of Sales & Operations

DIRECTOR OF SALES & OPERATIONS, FUSE WORKSPACE

Kris Thomas is the Director of Sales and Operations at FUSE Workspace,

leading sales strategy, member acquisition, corporate training, and

operational performance across the company's Class A coworking and flexible

office locations in Austin and Houston.

Background

Kris Thomas spent the formative years of his career inside some of the most

demanding hospitality and sales environments in the country. She earned her

degree in Hospitality Administration and Management from The University of Texas at San Antonio and pursued additional studies in Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Houston. From there, she held a series of progressively senior roles at Fairmont San Francisco, including Conference Concierge Manager, Catering Sales & Marketing Manager, and Catering Sales Manager, followed by Sales Manager positions at Caesars Entertainment.

At FUSE

Inside FUSE Workspace, Kris has progressed from General Manager to Regional

Sales Director to her current Director of Sales and Operations role with hands-on experience launching new locations, negotiating high value team suite and enterprise contracts, streamlining CRM systems, and coaching teams to deliver a consistently hospitality grade member experience.
